ASSESSMENT SUMMARY

Assessment & Live / Zoom Attendance is Required to Gain Certification

This course will give you valuable knowledge to enhance your pole / teaching journey but you will not gain your certification without meeting the assessment criteria.

Pre-Requisites

  • Self mastery - minimum 1 year of attending regular classes prior to commencing at a studio or via approved online Pole tutorial platform and proficient to at least Intermediate level
  • Sign the CPT Course Participation Waiver

Attendance Options - IN PERSON or ONLINE

In Person: Live course held on location covering all theory and practical curriculum

  • 26 Contact hours over 4 days plus additional practical assessment

Online: Study the theory online then attend Live Zoom course sessions to revise important points and cover practical curriculum

  • 15-18 hours Live online learning completed over 3 days plus additional practical assessment

Personal Practice Hours - To be logged & signed after commencing (links at end of this lecture section)

  • 5 hours of observation at an approved studio or online Pole tutorial platform (eg. Polesphere)
  • 8 hours of self mastery - attending classes at approved studio, online classes or online Pole tutorial platform
  • 12 hours of teaching (at least 50% supervised or assistant teaching if a trainee or submitted by video if completing course online)

Written Assessment

  • Written Assessment 1 to be submitted within 6 weeks of attending course
  • Written Assessment 2 to be submitted within 3 months of attending course

Theory Exam

  • A multiple-choice and short answer exam with a selection from the entire course content to be completed in person for live courses or within 7 days of live Zoom attendance

Practical Exam

1.Class Presentation

  • To be completed within 3 months of attending course
  • Assessment dates will be provided. If you cannot attend set dates a fee will be charged for an alternative date and time

2.Testing knowledge of included exercises, grips, movement definitions & muscle contractions

  • To be completed on the final day of the training sessions

Online Practical Exam
